This AC adapter does not work with bc10 MP1. This article is solely for bc10ES1 and ES2.

This section shows how to replace a plug of an AC adapter. bc10 requires the EIAJ standard type-1 DC plug (center plus)
for its AC adapter. If the plug of an AC adapter does not come with this type, its plug is needed to be changed. This
explains how to replace the plug.

This AC adapter does not work with bc10 MP1. This article is solely for bc10ES1 and ES2.

• The specifications of the AC adapter for bc10 are:
  • Plug: EIAJ Type-1 (EIAJ-1) center plus
  • Rated Voltage: DC 5V
  • Rated Current: more than 2A
• The specifications of the EIAJ standard type-1 DC plug
  • Outer Diameter 2.35 mm
  • Inner Diameter 0.7 mm
  • Shaft Length 9.2 mm

The specifications of the AC adapter are described above. If an existing AC adapter does not have EIAJ-1 center plus, its
plug is easily replaced. The next section shows how to alter the plug.

• AC Adapter and EIAJ1 Plug

    Remove the original plug from the AC adapter, and replace it with EIAJ1 type, which is adequate for the DC input jack of
    bc10. Twist the strands at the edges of AC adapter's cables, and put the wire through the heat shrinking tube before the
    EIAJ1 plug solders the adapter. To use multimeter, identify the plus side and the minus side, and distinguish one from the
    other. Then, the EIAJ1 plug is solders the cables of the AC adapter.
• After solder the EIAJ1 plug to the adapter

    To prevent short circuit, put heat shrinking tube over the lower wire's soldered area. This picture is taken before heat
    shrinking tube is put on. The heat shrinking tube covers completely over the soldered area.Then, shrink the tube.
• Put on the cup
  • 
    Put on the cup, and this is the finished product. The assembly process is completed.
