xvid †

This explains how to build xvid for chumby. This is tested with an old version of chumby and xvid. The
requirements and a method of installation may differ.

building_xvid †

• Assumes that PATH has been established to crosstool here.

For chumby (2008.04) †

$ tar xvfz xvidoare-1.1.3 tar.gz
$ cd xvidcore-1.1.3/build/generic
$ ./configure –prefix={your_work_DIR} –build=i686-linux –host=arm-linux
$ make
$ make install
